PHONY

aegophony       (med) a tremulous nasal resonance of the voice,
sometimes heard with the stethoscope in pleurisy.
antiphony       opposition of soundd, antiphonal effect
apophony
cacophony         discordant sound, an instace of this.

diaphony
euphony           the quality esp of spoken words, of having a
pleasant sound, the pleasing effect of sounds free form
harshness.(philo) the tendency to phonetic change giving easier
pronunciation.
heterophony      a simultaneous performance of the same melody by
different voices or instruments.
homophony        (mus) homophonic music or style , a homophonic
compostion. the quality or state of being homophonous with regard to
pronunciation.
monophony        music in which there is a single melodic line.
monophonic recording or reproduction.

harmonizes with that in the preceding syllable.
